Noon PT
The Dr. Theresa Nicassio Show
Join me on Monday January 2nd at noon PT on The Dr. Theresa Nicassio Show with Eyoalha Baker on HealthyLife.net – All Positive Talk Radio for an inspiring and heartwarming conversation about the impact of sharing joy.
Eyoalha helped transform the spirit and urban alleys in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (one of Canada’s poorest neighbourhoods) through her sharing the POWER of JOY with her JUMP FOR JOY! PHOTO PROJECT.
On the show, Eyoalha will be talking about her own inner journey through the evolution of her innovative JOY photo project. She will also share how the project taught her how when shared, JOY multiplies and is as contagious as fear. Eyoalha will also be discussing the ripple effects of joy and fear on society and how the intentional use of JOY can dramatically transform communities and those who live in them.
About Eyoalha Baker
Eyoalha Baker is a West Coast Canadian Artist, visionary and TedXEastVan Speaker. For the past 4 years Eyoalha has taken hundreds of photos with people jumping for joy. She hopes that sharing joyful images on a large scale will help shift some of the negative fear-based media attention towards the uplifting energy of joy.
The images of her Jump For Joy Photo Project are shared online, through talks/presentations (such as TedXEastVan) and large scale public art photo murals. The mass compilation of joyful photos is the co-creation of hundreds of people from all walks of life who have taken the time to jump as a symbol of sharing their joy with others. The images showcase peoples individual creativity, positivity, joy and fun that uplifts both participants and viewers alike.

Do You Have A Question Or Topic You’d Like Me To Address?
#BecauseYouAsked…
The “Because You Asked” radio show segment was inspired by the plethora of questions friends and followers have been asking me since the YUM Project began. I can’t begin to tell you how moved I have been by the droves of email inquiries, social media messages, phone calls and in-person questions YUM and my speaking engagements have prompted! With such a demand, it will be terrific to be able to offer my reflections and information to an even broader audience.
If you have any topics or questions that you would like me to address, I’d love to hear from you!
